New Feature:
  • Mobile Team Notifications. Implemented mobile push notifications, giving users real-time alerts on their phone for events like payments received, new booking requests, and newly assigned jobs. Additionally as part of this notification feature, some broader updates were introduced to support the overall usability, including. 
    • Added a new notification settings screen in the mobile app, letting users choose which notification types (Admin or Mechanic) they want to receive.
    • Added critical notifications, allowing administrators to broadcast important company-wide alerts to all mobile app users, with an email verification step to help prevent accidental broadcasts.
    • Adjusted critical notifications so they're now always enabled for every user and can no longer be turned off, ensuring company-wide alerts are never missed.
    • Enhanced push notifications so tapping one now takes users straight to the relevant screen in the app, such as the specific job, booking, or invoice it relates to.
    • Improved assigned booking notifications so users are no longer notified when assigning work to themselves, and each notification now includes the job details so multiple assignments are easy to tell apart.

Updates:
  • Updated and resolved a number of mobile notification issues, including settings screen failures, permissions errors, incorrect booking and job-assignment notifications, and missed critical alerts for some companies.
