New Features
- Two Way SMS is now ready to use the moment it’s activated. Your dedicated number and reply set-up are created automatically, with no waiting (applies for Australian customers only. NZ & UK customers fall under the normal activiation procees).
- As we've now made this much more efficient, it requires no time from the Workshop Software team to provision a phone number, and therefore the previous $99 activation fee is now dropped.
SMS
- Two-way SMS conversations now show the customer’s name as soon as you send a message to an existing customer.
Bookings
- Booking requests from booking partners such as Podium, Ascently and Talkify now recognise a rego already on file as an existing vehicle, and the booking is made against that vehicle.
- Loan car bookings can now be started, returned and reviewed even after the service adviser recorded on them has been removed.
Invoices & Printing
- Printed invoices for workshops whose prices include tax now show a Subtotal that includes tax, matching the line prices above it. Tax-inclusive discounts also print with their tax included.
- The hours line now prints on all invoice formats for hours-based vehicles such as machinery, marine, plant and agricultural equipment.
- Improved bundle printing with updates to bunblde titles, alignment, and invoice notes on items inside a bundle now appear on the printed invoice.
- Further improvements to invoice, job card and booking documents, so they correctly print mobile numbers irrespective of the format captured.
- Enhanced split invoices. The new invoice keeps its line order, prints bundles grouped as on the original, and shows the correct tax on screen and in print straight away.
- Products can now be added to an open invoice or booking for an archived customer, with pricing worked out as normal.
- Updated the Sales Report so it includes every customer’s invoices when no customer range is entered.
Products, Parts & Inspections
- The job card number now carries onto the order when Repco or NAPA parts are ordered using the Add to Order button.
- The product search count on multi-branch member accounts now matches the product list.
- Changing a product’s Item Code and then back to its own code no longer shows an “already exists” warning.
- Inspections can now be saved when created from a template whose product has since been made inactive or deleted, including when converting them to an invoice or booking.
- Improved editing of inspection templates.
Payments
- Workshops that previously used FlipPay can now turn on Workshop Pay.
